Simmer Down Sprinter
Saturday, April 28th, 2012Steve Lambert’s “Simmer Down Sprinter is a two player, sit-down, arcade style video game I designed and programmed in which players compete to move runners around a track. “Everyones’ Best Friends″: is a display of cutouts of banknote-portraits from eight different currencies.

“The Kiss” was given to the MoMA as a donation without asking for permission. Maria entered the museum as a regular visitor and gave an intense French kiss to the wall. Next to the invisible kiss she then fixed a fake label, which simulated the style of a regular MoMA caption.
My Most Favourite Art is an installation made of exhibition plates, stolen and collected from different galeries and museums since 2004. Only criterion for the theft of a plate is a fascination for the work which belongs to it.
Minefield Detonators
Saturday, March 3rd, 2012“During his childhood in Afghanistan, Massoud Hassani would make miniature models to be blown by the wind. Sometimes they would end up in a minefield, where he could not retrieve them.
Now Massoud’s wind-powered creations are designed specifically for minefields. Like a giant clump of dandelion seeds, his Mine Kafon will roll about, detonating any mines in its path. “There are 30 million land mines in Afghanistan and 26 million people, so that’s more mines than people,” Massoud says. Each deminer is to have a GPS tracking device linked to a website showing which areas have been cleared.”
